Equality North Carolina Rural Youth Empowerment Fellowship

I participated in a 10-month fellowship through Equality North Carolina helping to support queer youth in NC's rural areas. In addition to developing the Queer History and Advocacy Workshop, I also helped the ENC team provide resources at Pride events, met with Congresspeople on Capital Hill to discuss queer policy issues, and supported ENC teams to raise awareness about rural LGBTQ issues within key communities.
